burning tips for beeswax candles
-
Keep wicks trimmed to 1/4″ or less to prevent soot.
-
To prevent tunneling, burn candles until the melt pool reaches the candle wall.
-
To achieve a full melt pool, you should burn your candle one hour for each inch in diameter or until the wax pool extends from edge to edge. For example, our white tin candles (3 in. in diameter) should be burned for 3 hours for a full melt pool. This will extend the longevity of your beeswax candles.
